Software Versions

The version numbering of Maj.Min.Patch follows the semantic versioning scheme. This means that minor as well as patch versions preserve code backward compatibility. Minor updates may add new features while patches only fix bugs. Major version changes indicate that backward incompatible changes are possible with MagCAD or ToPoliNano generated layouts. These changes are always listed in the changelog.
